The Unified Modeling Language (UML) has quickly become the standard modeling language used throughout the world in the software development process. The presentation includes an introduction to all thirteen UML models and diagrams, focusing on those most applicable to business analysis.

About the Presenter
Norman Daoust
principal consultant of Daoust Associates, www.DaoustAssociates.com, has been using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) in projects since 1999. He helps clients model software requirements and exchange healthcare data electronically. Norman serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the Data Management Association International (DAMA). He also served for six years as the Secretary of the Technical Steering Committee of the international healthcare standards organization, Health Level Seven (HL7). He’s spoken at numerous regional and national conferences including Software Development Best Practices, and DAMA International Symposium and Wilshire Meta-Data Conference.
